With the increasing popularity of 6Gbp large capacity hard drive such as the Hitachi 3TB SATA HDD, customers are able to get increased data capacity with superior 6Gbps performance using Sans Digital's full line of EliteNAS products.

SATA hard drives are widely used due to its great capacity and performance ratio at an affordable price point. In comparison to the 3Gbps (300MB/s Max) HDDs, the new 6Gbps (600 MB/s max) hard drive provides double the bandwidth on data transfer rate, allowing the 6Gbps capable RAID controller to take full advantage of its great bandwidth and maximizing the data transfer performance. With the increased capacity of 3TB per disk, the Sans Digital EliteNAS EN805L+BXE is capable of supporting up to a total of 144TB total raw capacity.

The EliteNAS network attached storage rackmount system are available in both Linux and Windows OS, including 2U 12-bay EN212L+BXE / EN212W-BXE, 3U 16-bay EN316L+BXE / EN316W+BXE, 4U 24-bay EN424L+BXE / EN424W+BXE, and 8U 50-bay EN850L+BXE / EN850W+BXE. The Sans Digital's full line of EliteNAS network attached storage rackmounts fully supports the 6Gbps 3TB SATA HDDs.
