Next-Level Mobile Gaming
The makers of the popular Samuari 2: Vengeance game for Tegra Zone, Madfinger, are developing a new game optimized for Tegra-powered devices called SHADOWGUN. There's going to be two versions of this game - one for Tegra 2 dual-core devices, and one that takes advantage of NVIDIA's Project Kal-El quad-core processor. Some initial impressions?

"SHADOWGUN Is The First Android Game Optimized For Quad-Core Devices, Looks Ridiculously Awesome"

"SHADOWGUN Announced for Both Tegra 2 and Kal-El Processors, Might Be the Most Visually Impressive Mobile Game Ever."

SHADOWGUN has people excited about the game, but they are also excited about Project Kal-El...

"Needless to say, we're pretty stoked to see how this game turns out and even more stoked for Project Kal-El."

...and what it will mean to the applications people carry around in their pocket?

"We aren't exactly nearing Heavy Rain, Gears of War or Uncharted 3 here, but for a mobile device these are insane graphics and I cannot wait for more games like these to make their way to Android."

Broadcast Yourself - Now in 3D
For the first time ever YouTube is giving users the ability to view thousands of 3D videos in rich, high-quality stereoscopic 3D using NVIDIA 3D Vision PCs and notebooks.

"Graphics Chip designer NVIDIA has managed to score something of a coup by getting Youtube to support its 3D Vision technology."

With 3D cameras available from e from Fujifilm, JVC, Sony and other leading vendors we expect to see more homemade 3D films. Heck you can even get the LG G-Slate tablet - featuring Tegra 2 processors - with a built in 3D camera. All they need is the latest version of the Mozilla FireFox 4 Web browser.

"When using the latest version of the Mozilla Firefox web browser, users with NVIDIA's 3D glasses can view videos and photos in the 3D section of Google's YouTube service, which allows users to upload their own 3D content."

NVIDIA is now hosting the top YouTube stereoscopic 3D videos on its 3D web community site at www.3DVisionLive.com/YT3D.

New Notebooks....WANT!!!
NVIDIA has https://twitter.com/#!/NvidiaOptimus/status/69123663311536129 feed several times, and now it is true. Dell just released the new XPS 15z. It is billed as the world's thinnest 15-inch PC.

"The Dell XPS 15z addresses the two major concerns we had with the XPS 15, namely, bulk and endurance. This slimmed-down system has a more elegant, streamlined look and measures less than an inch thick. Plus, you get 6 hours of battery life."

Less than one inch thick. Gorgeous aluminum design. Best-in-class screen. Great keyboard WITH backlights. Lightweight. Loaded with NVIDIA goodness like a GeForce GT 525M, NVIDIA Optimus and 3DTV Play.

"It also houses an NVIDIA technology called Optimus, which shuts off the GeForce GT 525M when it's not in use and reverts to Intel's integrated environment. This technology is partly responsible for the 15z's impressive battery scores."

Want more power? MainGear's eX-L 15 has been cleaning up with Editor's Choice Awards from PC Perspective and Hot Hardware, as well as more than one 4.5 star review.

"In conclusion, the Maingear Ex-L 15 is a very impressive notebook.. Yes, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 485M is a killer graphics card, but the system was stunning in other areas as well. The display is one of the best I've seen on a laptop..."

It is a gaming beast.

"If you need a kick-ass, jaw-dropping mobile gaming powerhouse, the Maingear eX-L15 will serve you well."

#9
NVIDIA has received a lot of attention for our success in the mobile venue.

"NVIDIA saw the mobile writing on the wall long ago, and has since muscled its way into 40 percent of notebooks. But that's not what's propelling the company's growth for the next three to five years. The company's new Tegra 2 processors power a new wave of superphones such as the T-Mobile G2x, which is capable of 1080p video recording and playback. Plus, Tegra is the CPU of choice, thus far, for Android 3.0 tablets."

With Tegra (recently awarded ‘Best Choice' Award for Computex 2011), we really have become a major player in mobile. The #9 player on Laptop Magazine's 25 Most Influential People In Mobile 2011 list is NVIDIA's Phil Carmack.
