NVIDIA GeForce 310.70 Driver Released

Accelerate Assassin's Creed III, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, and Far Cry 3 with New GeForce Drivers

NVIDIA released today new GeForce R310 drivers that are Microsoft Windows certified and optimized for this year's AAA holiday games.

GeForce 310.70 drivers are now certified by the Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) and are available for download from https://www.geforce.com/drivers.

These drivers provide gamers the accumulated benefits of five beta driver releases that have dramatically improved performance and compatibility in today's best-selling games over the past two months. It's yet another example of how NVIDIA works with game developers to deliver immersive gameplay and cinematic visuals.

GeForce 310.70 Driver Highlights (vs. previous WHQL driver)

Best performance in the top holiday games:
- Improves performance Assassin's Creed III by up to 18 percent
- Improves performance in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 by up to 26 percent
- Improves performance in Far Cry 3 by up to 38 percent
Movie-quality gaming with TXAA in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Assassin's Creed III.
Up to 16 percent faster performance in other top games such as Battlefield 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and StarCraft II.
