AMD FireStream 9250 Compute Accelerator Validated for HP ProLiant Servers as Part of HP Accelerator ProgramToday at the International Supercomputing Conference (ISC), AMD (NYSE: AMD) announced that AMD FireStreamTM 9250 compute accelerators are now qualified as part of the HP Accelerator Program to deliver the significant performance benefits of GPU acceleration to a wide array of enterprise and High Performance Computing (HPC) customers using HP ProLiant DL385 G5p and DL160 G6 servers. The massive parallel processing power and double-precision floating point support on the AMD FireStreamTM 9250 compute accelerator make it well suited for the most demanding compute applications.
