There are issues with the installation, drivers and software. In DeviceManager it comes up as a generic RALINK based 'card' with few options to set, most of them defaulted to the wrong setting. Big Oops. Not good. You are supposed to use the utility, but you can't reach it (despite setting it to show in the taskbar at all times) until the unit is working. Very big Oops. But now that it is working, it is fast and consistent so far.
I don't know what the range is yet, I will try that when I can.
