Synology Announces Disk Station Manager 2.0 SoftwareNEWTechnology, NEWExtension, and NEWInternet Sharing make for a NEW NAS Experience Synology Inc. today introduced the all-new Synology Disk Station Manager 2.0 software, ending the beta program started in February 2008, which generated over 4,000 valid applicants and numerous user discussions. The Synology Disk Station Manager 2.0 features the brand new AJAX-based management interface; Surveillance Station, which allows video recording from multiple network cameras both in continuous and motion detection mode; Photo Station 3, the new web sharing application with blogging support; Synology Data Replicator 3, the new worry-free office backup application; and new multimedia streaming support for Sony PS3 and Microsoft Xbox360. "The Synology Disk Station Manager 2.0 is the first NAS software to be truly designed with the user experience and expectations in mind", said by Philip Wong, president of Synology, earlier when the beta program opened.
