PiixL EdgeCenterT TV-Mountable PC Introduced

Invisible, high performance PC mounts behind any TV, blends together gesture controlled Windows 8 and high end gaming.

The world's first TV-mountable, invisible high end PC

The EdgeCenterT TV-mountable PC concept is a ground breaking slim machine that slides and attaches behind any TV that has a viewable area 32"diagonal in size or more, bringing unparalleled experiences to the big screen whilst adopting the most unobtrusive and smartest form a high-performance machine has ever taken.

Following the acclaimed* original EdgeCenterT concept introduced in late 2009, the London-based start-up has teamed up with two of the biggest names in IT worldwide and invested two years of design and development to bring this ground breaking device and revolutionary capabilities to the TV screen at an affordable price.

. Universal compatibility: attaches and adjusts in size behind any TV through VESA interface
. Ultra thin (54mm) chassis
. Up to 500 watts of quiet cooling capacity
. Gesture control up to 5 metres
. Up to 3rd Gen Core i7 CPU and Nvidia GTX680 graphics
. Smart, minimalistic design stance
. Brings unique flexibility and freedom through the Windows 8 PC base

Smarter than Smart TV

With the 'battle for the living room' increasingly raging, the EdgeCenterT brings a unique mix of versatility, openness and interoperability to the TV screen, making it the ideal living room device.

Where Smart TV initiatives have so far brought poorly implemented and limited functionalities, the EdgecenterT offers potentially unlimited uses, each executed in the best possible way, from renting a movie in a few gestures to content creation via a full wireless keyboard.

More powerful than a gaming console

The "Gamer" and "Max" Editions EdgeCentersT offer breakthrough performances for gamers and power users, with sky-high framerates and details on the latest games delivered straight to the big screen.

Designed from the onset to host the latest and most powerful components available, these EdgeCentersT leave current consoles in the dust and finally bring a real "gaming rig" experience, fit for the size of the screen it is been played on.

'We are extremely excited to bring this new EdgeCenter generation to the market', said Francois-Xavier Gardes, PiixL's founder and designer of the EdgeCenterT. 'We have methodically addressed all feedbacks we received, and dramatically cut costs. The result is an affordable blend of the highest technology and best performance, packaged into the slimmest, most elegant and versatile device in the world' -
