NVIDIA Optimus Notebook IGP Driver Update 189.42 Available
Intel's latest (March) IGP driver is not compatible with Optimus. NVIDIA has a driver fix which is being posted today for anyone who wants to use Intel's latest driver. Previous Intel drivers work fine. We are working with Intel to ensure this issue does not happen again. In addition to the Intel driver solution, this new NVIDIA Optimus driver includes improved merging of Optimus profiles and additional performance enhancements.
We recommend all Optimus users move to this driver immediately. Grab the new driver here:

Thanks for this post. I don't know how fast your PC is in itself, but you may wish to be able to use a program called "Driver Finder" to fix the error you've been seeing. You can see a Driver Finder Review on our website.
