Windows RT is on a Roll

Microsoft rolled our Windows RT a few short weeks ago and by doing so transformed the Windows experience by adding support for touch-screens, adding full hardware acceleration for Windows, and bringing Windows to thin and light mobile devices. This paved the way for some very innovative computing platforms like the Microsoft Surface. Folks are already finding ways to use these new tablet/laptop hybrids.

"After using Microsoft's Surface for about a week, there are some usages models that I prefer to do on the Surface over the iPad."

People have praised the build quality of the Surface PC in reviews, but one guy really put it to the test by accidently tossed it off the back of a moving vehicle.

"I guess it stayed there for several blocks as I sped down a main thruway before I made a lane change on Westwood Blvd & it lost its grip, slid off the top, & careened off the side of my car into the middle turn lane. (sob) Several onlookers watched in horror as the device toppled corner-over-corner finally resting a lane over from where I was."

TegraZone Titles Rack ‘Em Up And Shoot ‘Em Up

Two great games blasted onto TegraZone in the last week with Retrobomb launching Expendable: Rearmed - a classic arcade shooter being brought straight to your handheld - and Tick Tock Games launching International Snooker Pro, taking "all cue gaming" to new heights.

Both games feature Tegra-exclusive gameplay enhancements ranging from gorgeous water effects and advanced extra shadowing in Expendable: Rearmed to all new graphics and a physics engine optimized for Tegra in International Snooker Pro. The enhancements were definitely noticed with press saying:

"The sound effects are pretty excellent and the advanced graphics rendering specifically for quad-core Tegra 3 devices makes this game even better."

"The best experience will be with a Tegra 3 device..."

"Of course, you don't need to have [a Tegra 3] processor in your device, but it sure does get better if ya do."

"The developers... have worked with NVIDIA to create a vision that stays true to the original while bringing enhancements only the TegraZone team could bust out..."

Download Expendable: Rearmed and International Snooker Pro from Google Play - and as always, head over to TegraZone for the latest and greatest in mobile gaming.
