NVIDIA GeForce GTX480 Uses Fermi GF100 GPU

NVIDIA Senior press relations manager Bryan Del Rizzo has gone on the record to reveal that NVIDIA's next desktop graphics products will be named the GeForce GTX-480 and GTX-470, according to social media websites Facebook and Twitter. NVIDIA's GeForce GTX-480 and GTX-470 video cards will use the GF100 GPU, based on the NVIDIA Fermi Graphics Architecture which we recently detailed. Sources speculate that engineering samples will ship to media for testing as early as March 2010.
