LSI Expands MegaRAID controller and HBA families with PCI Express 3.0

On June 26, LSI will expand its MegaRAID controller and HBA families with PCI Express 3.0. LSI's latest MegaRAID SAS+SATA controllers and host bus adapters (HBAs) will feature the PCI Express 3.0 interface. PCI Express 3.0 doubles the bit transfer rate bandwidth of its prior generation and enables these newest controllers and HBAs to deliver unmatched performance for next-generation servers and storage systems.
