Asus Super Alloy Graphics Cards Debut

Stomp your benchmarks with ASUS graphics cards
-- Introducing Super Alloy Power - The new standard in graphics card design --

Modifying the design to make a good graphics card better
Among graphics cards, modifications to reference design aren't uncommon. They often are designed to increase durability, resist heat, and crank up performance. Enter Super Alloy Power: ASUS' latest creation meant to stack more advantages onto already power-packed graphics cards - making them stronger, faster, and sturdier than ever before.

What is SAP?
Internal testing has revealed the stunning results: SAP can give a video card up to 2.5 times longer lifespan with 35 degrees Celsius cooler operation. It also grants a 15% boost in performance. These benchmarks were achieved by constructing key components on the board (MOSFETS, chokes, and capacitors) with a special alloy formula, designed to be highly magnetic, heat-resistance, and anti-corrosive.

Featured Cards:

ENGTX560 Ti DCII/2DI/1GD5
Factory-overclocked to 830MHz, the ENGTX560 also comes equipped with DirectCU II premium cooling technology. Combined with SAP, DCII helps keeps clock speeds high, noise and heat low. Recently, the ENGTX560 Ti DCII/2DI/1GD5 went head-to-head with 5 other video cards and emerged the undisputed winner of the coveted Tom's Hardware Recommended Buy award.

EAH6870 DC/2DI2S/1GD5
Powered by Radeon HD6870, this graphics card is factory-overclocked to 915MHz. DirectCU and SAP technology, combined with ASUS-Exclusive Voltage Tweak makes the gaming experience fast, smooth, and worth every penny. AMD Eyefinity allows power users to set up multiple monitors for an immersive, visual-surround tour-de-force that has to be seen to be believed.

What the future holds
SAP technology will become more prevalent on future graphics cards. Most graphics cards will have one or two SAP components, such as MOSFETS capacitors and chokes, but a select few high-end cards will be equipped with the full SAP treatment, allowing enthusiasts to reap the full benefit of SAP.
