Hail to the King. The new generation Republic of Gamers G74Sx fuses the best of the iconic G73 Series with the latest performance technology - including a full 3GB of VRAM - to create a gaming notebook unrivaled for performance, comfort and pure fun.

Get Ready for a Wild Ride
The ROG G74Sx is imposes its will with overwhelming power. First, it boasts an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M GPU with a huge 3GB of GDDR5 VRAM. Like most other 400+ Series NVIDIA GPUs, it supports DirectX 11 for cutting edge visual effects like tessellation. It also brings a second generation Intel Core i7 CPU and 12GB of DDR3 memory to the party. Internal testing shows a 15,130 3D Mark 2006 score.

All of this power requires special cooling, and the G74Sx implements a dual intelligent cooling system. This unique venting design pulls air from underneath the notebook, cooling the system down, and expels it through the back of the notebook, keeping hot air away from the user and reducing ambient noise. Compared to the previous generation G73 notebook, this system drops GPU temperature 20%, CPU temperature 8% and fan noise 12% to 32dB (internal test).

Audio Visual Bliss
The audio visual experience on the G74Sx is exceptional, whether the user is playing Duke Nukem Forever at extremely high frame rates or enjoying a Blu-ray movie in full HD. The big and brilliant 17.3-inch LED-backlit display features a 1080p resolution for an immersive visual experience with sharp images, smooth video transitions, and brilliant clarity. Dual 3W speakers and THX + EAX 5.0 3D gaming audio technology provides a detailed and satisfying sonic landscape for gaming and movies. Creative EAX Advance HD 5.0 detects in-game environments and actions to provide corresponding 3D audio, enabling up to 128 additional sound effects with EAX support. And with HDMI connectivity, users can turn this gaming powerhouse into their personal media center by connecting to or HDTV / home theater.

Comfort and Style
Like the best luxury automobiles, the G74Sx delivers a tremendous user experience in comfort and style. The G74's 5° incline keyboard is specially designed to provide a more natural ergonomic angle for users' wrists, and the soft-touch palm rest is easy on the hands.

The G74Sx retains the sleek, Stealth fighter look of the G73 Series, and remains one of the most striking notebooks on the market. Its solid metallic surface is highly rigid and conveys a quality feel. The 16.4-inch "Chiclet" style keyboard is backlit for nighttime visibility, and gaming navigation keys are clearly marked. For DIY tweakers, ASUS has added the convenience of an easy to remove bottom panel that allows access to memory slots and other components.

Even the GUI is slick, the G74's new rotation desktop user interface puts programs and files on a virtual wheel while displaying system temperature, memory usage and other key data.
