Closer Look: Exterior

The one thing that cannot be said about Lian Li cases is that they are ugly, each beautifully crafted out aluminum sheets with fine workmanship all around. This tradition continues with the PC-V750WX, which is beautiful crafted, with elegant curves, and large continuous sheets of aluminum.

From the front, you can see that Lian Li has only included one 5.25" slot, users needing more bays for fan controllers or other components will need to look at other cases on the market. Also visible is the very large window that gives the enthusiast the ability to elegantly show off their components and hard work that goes into their system.

Starting at the top of the rear of the case a user can see the two grommets used for running the tubing needed for external water-cooling, below that we have the rear 120mm fan which we will look at more closely later. Below that, we have ten ventilated covers for each of the expansion slots. Next to the bottom two slots, we have the power receptacle that connects to the power supply in the front the PC-V750WX.

On the bottom of the PC-V750WX we have openings for two intake fans, one for our power supply and towards the rear we have an opening for the a extra 120mm fan that may be installed if the enthusiast removes the optional drive mounts in the bottom of the PC-V750WX.

From the top, you can see the openings for the two 140mm exhaust fans that Lian Li has included with the PC-V750WX. Also visible is the seam the separates the front sheet of aluminum and the rear. This single point is the only outward indication that the PC-V750W is built from multiple sheets of aluminum.

Lastly, on the front we have our power, reset, and front panel connectors. Lian Li has given the PC-V750WX an audio input and output jacks, two USB 3.0 ports fed by an internal header, one USB 2.0 port, and a E-SATA port allowing enthusiast a multitude of connections depending on their needs.

Could you please use some gloves or at least wipe off your fingerprints before you take pictures of an all aluminum case next time?

lol.. I'd have said clean em off yourself! At any rate.. the only thing I dislike is where the hell is the removable mb tray. At these prices it should be standard. Come on Lian-Li!

It seems it has become very rare to see a removable tray. Which is so very sad.

As anyone who has been around the Anodized Lian Li Aluminum knows that Finger prints are common. on the other hand.. This case is a Winner in my Opinion.. Based loosely on the PC-05 Case the Design is Low and long.. Which is great for a small footprint in the office while having enough components to choke a IT Tech. Great Job with the Airflow as well.. This is a great Stand alone case as well as an awesome donor for a fantastically dramatic Mod.. Two Thumbs up Lian Li.. you are finally getting the hang of this case stuff.

the lian li pc-v750wx is a beautiful case . the price will drop below 300 dollars within a year or less . i have a lian li lancool pc-k9wx which is about the same size as the pc-v750wx and is all black aluminum inside and out and has a window on the left side . the lancool pc-k9wx which i think is still for sale is just $79.99 . it looks great like all lian li products . the pc-v750wx has more interior room and more features but i do not need all those features anyway . the lancool pc-k9wx has three bays on top and i replaced the bays with another fan . i use outboard disc writers anyway . lian li and lancool are the best cases made except maybe corsair which are similar in appearance . corsair just released a gargantuan 900d for people with $15000 dollars worth of parts to fill it up . i like my $79.99 lancool pc-k9wx just fine and have no need for a larger or more expensive case .

I've had my Lian-Li PC-65B since 2006 and love it. Lian-Li makes fantastic cases and once you have one, odds are good you won't ever need another. I like the rounded edges and that they relocated the USB ports to a spot that has better access. Agreeing with the "cons" section...only 1 5.25" bay is ridiculous. With the amount of extras that some folk use (me included), only having 1 bay is lacking. 5 hard drive bays would be enough, remove the one at the top and add a second 5.25" bay at the least. Someone else mentioned the non-removable MB tray, unless you are constantly swapping boards or other hardware, I don't see it as an issue. I leave mine in when I'm swapping things out because my cable management is so tight and awesome that I have to disconnect everything completely to remove it and it's just easier to leave it in.

All in all, personally, for the price, I can't see "upgrading" my current Lian-Li PC-65B at this time. Very nice looking case for someone looking for an all alluminum case.

- No filters on front intake fans"

There ARE filters on front intake fans. However, the others fans are not filtered.
